Why call them Life Groups?

Too often we can just come for a worshiip service, take membership and do our own thing and not be connected or involved in the life of the church community.  Here is an opportunity engage with people that God has put together in this church. Here we are called to love one another, and nurture each other and display the goodness of God at work in us.

The groups typically begin with a simple meal and a time to catch up with each other.  This informal setting, is to build community and to listen to each other's stories and to share our walk with God. Then we pray and encourage each other.

We have one main goal for the Life Groups this year.  It is our hope that Healing will be the focus. We will listen to the call to continue the healing work of Jesus.  Here in the context of our community life we will share our stories, care for one another, and pray for healing with each other. Here we can also discover those gifted by the Spirit for the ministry of healing.

If you have freinds or neighbors who need healing, pray for them in the group and with the group's consent bring them into these groups where they can experience the love of God.

Small Group Schedule:

1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays: Regular groups meet in homes
4th Sunday: All Life Groups gather into a large group in the church or at the Pastor's house at 6 p.m. for community time.  ( David & Nalini's house is at 3315 Chatham Road, Richmond, VA 23227. Tel: 804-935-7386)
5th Sunday: No scheduled meetings.
